Back Country Horsemen of America has partnered with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics to serve as a resource to provide training and educational opportunities to promulgate the fundamental principals and goals of the LNT Ethic tailored specifically to stockmen and equestrians.

Backcountry Horsemen of New Mexico has joined in the commitment and initiated training and workshops to spread the word. We also have two Master Trainers who have graduated from the specialized LNT Master Trainers Course for Stockmen given at the Nine Mile Training facility operated by the Forest Service.

BCHNM Trainers are available to give training and awareness workshops on LNT principals and fundamentals with a special emphasis on the unique factors involved in use of stock in the backcountry. Graduates of the "Train the Trainer" courses receive recognition from the national LNT Center and are official representative for LNT.
