| The Three Rivers Chapter was
re-established in 2009 with the help and support of the Four Corners
Chapter in Durango, CO. The Three Rivers Chapter joins other
local Chapters throughout New Mexico to work toward conserving the back
country wilderness and protecting the stock user's right to use back country
trails.
The Chapter works with the BLM to map the existing horse trails in the area. Establishing these trails for horse use now will ensure in the future that these trails will remain open for all horse riders. The Chapter also partners with the Carson National Forest on trail maintenance projects.
