The Three Rivers chapter was formed in 2009. The Chapter has been involved with the BLM and Forest Service to preserve and protect trails. Our future goals include the identification and restoration of historical trails, developing a Search and Rescue team in partnership with the Sheriff’s department, the creation of a “First Response” network, developing trail heads for horseback riding in the Four Corners areas and the renovation of existing campsite in the Carson Forest. We also do cleanup on BLM land to reduce the trash where we love to ride. We meet every fourth Thursday at 6 pm in the Boardroom at the Farmington Civic Center at 200 W Arrington. Come and meet us, have fun, and make a difference in our community through the use of our great equine partners.
