Zuni Mountain Chapter Membership
The Zuni Mountain BCHNM chapter is a 501(c)(3) organization, which means membership dues are tax-deductible for those who itemize their taxes. That's only one reason to join, however. Membership offers the benefits of participation--in parades on horseback, rides for fundraising and geocaching, protecting the public lands where we ride, taking advantage of the knowledge and resources of back country equestrians, community beautification work, as well as the challenge and fun of trail clearing and maintenance.
If you long to explore the mountains in west-central New Mexico, one of the best
ways to do it is from the back of a horse or mule. Your mount keeps an eye on
the trail, so you can enjoy the scenery.
In the summer, we hold a membership meeting in conjunction with a ride (usually)
and those are posted as events on our Facebook page. In the winter, we usually
meet at one of our member's houses. All the dates and times are announced on our Facebook page.
Download our membership application, fill it out, and bring it with you to the next meeting, where you'll find trail buddies who share your passion for the wilderness. We post information about ride and meeting events on our Facebook page, so check there for details. We'll be happy to see you!
